of time. in fact, yesterday alone, lots of places including san francisco, santa rosa, even oakland set record rainfall amounts for yesterday alone. now, more rain is already on our doorstep. we are still under flash flood watches and warnings. not only up against the coast but it does include san francisco, it includes napa and it also does include santa rosa. some of our hardest hit locations with a particular series of storms. you will notice more rain already starting to approach the coast, and this is just an appetizer of what's to come. we've looked at plenty of rain over the past four days. santa rosa, one of our top cities picked up over 5 1/2 inches of rain. san francisco, not too far behind. 2 1/2, to get down to the south bay, gilroy, 2 1/2 in san francisco topping out right at -- san jose, rather, at 1 1/2 now. we are watching more rain with this next system as you menged, diane. it's going to be very powerful. flash flood watches do mean that flash flooding is likely tomorrow. we're going to be telling you how much rain is going to fall. another thing that's very important,

and warnings posted into the north bay through the santa cruz mountains. heaviest towards oakland stretching east of napa and san rafael. all this activity continuing to barrel in as we head toward the overnight hours. the main brunt of the storm is not even here yet. it's some 1,000 miles off the coast. you can see it kind of getting pulled into our jet stream. it's going to continue to follow right along the jet stream bringing it here across the bay sometime tomorrow morning. we're guessing about 4:00 in the morning is when we'll start to seat heaviest of stuff. that will continue about 9:00 to 10:00 tomorrow morning. 1 to 3 inches of rain expected for most of us. mountains could see four to six. wind gusts will be very high tomorrow. in fact very dangerous with all the rain we've already seen especially with some of the trees and the very saturated soil and our rising river's going to be a concern. here we go. the rain pushes through tonight and then a line of storms about 5:00 in the north bay when the heaviest of stuff pulls through the north bay. around 8:00 the east bay, san francisc

in the oakland hills. the house fortunately is built with some steel beams. and we'll be tearing into the wall and welding.much of gordon's work involves art in architecture...creating large scale pieces that are incorporated into the framework of new or existing buildings.we did the hiroshigui museum of art, in japan, we have work at the getty in los angeles, we have uh work, we just installed a very large installation for the bart station in san bruno. in 1997, gordon became the permanent artist in residence at artesa winery in carneros. there's a certain simpatico between the aesthetic that i carry, that is already here existing at the archi...with the architecture.all of the art on display at artesa from dramatic sculptures ...to mixed media wall hangings...w as created by gordon.i would love to be able to see my art thru other people's eyes, but it's just not possible.at any given time, gordon has a half dozen projects in the pipeline. he works with a creative team of designers and engineers who help him turn his rough sketches and way out ideas, into works of art.it's difficult to separ
